How to complete your training?
Managers and Supporters training is run slightly differently from the training for other leaders. We have just a few specialist Training Advisers who will help identify learning and help you validate modules correctly. We have a programme workshops covering all the skills and knowledge needed.
The M&S induction and training working group will be developing further andrunning this scheme this year: Look out for a new induction programme, a new training guide, a self review form, new workshops and central validation sessions.
Step one: Download a managers & supporters training analysis here.
Step two: Complete the training analysis with as much detail as possible.
PLEASE NOTE: due to capacity, we do have a backlog to complete these.
Step three: Email your analysis to gmelearning@gmail.com or post to County Office. It will be assessed against the learning requirements for your role by an experienced Training Adviser. You will receive back a Personal Learning Plan including recommendations for learning and any validated criteria completed taking account of prior knowledge and training.

Step five: Validate your modules by attend a manager & supporter validation session / Wood Badge Cafe where a Training Adviser trained in these roles will help.
