Role of County

The remit of the team is to support and develop a quality Scouting programme for the young people in the area. To help us focus upon what will make a difference across the County we focus on 5 areas:

  1. Widening opportunities for young people with events
  2. Programme and activity support – ensuring quality Scouting for all young people
  3. Targeted programme development support – focused on areas
  4. Recognition for our young people and adults
  5. Involving young people
We do this by supporting Network Leaders, holding County Support Team meetings open to all, organising key events and leading on new initiatives.
