The GME Live Active Support Unit has been set up to provide support and assistance to County events.
What is the GME Live Scout Active Support Unit?
The Scout Active Support Unit will
- help organise and support County events and activities
- help organise and support run high profile events
- run practical workshops
- share specialist skills across the County via the skills directory
- provide specialist support and advice

- Help Scouts and Leaders from other groups

- Work alongside like minded people
- Utilising existing skills Countywide
- Experience new ideas to take back to your own sections
By contributing a little, informally at a time and a way that suits you, not only will you help others in Scouting but valuable develop your own experiences that will help your own Scouts.

Scout Active Support welcomes men and women aged 18 and over and of all interests, abilities and backgrounds. There is no requirement to have been involved in Scouting or Guiding before joining. All that is required is a willingness to volunteer some time to support Scouting. To be a member of a Scout Active Support Unit, you must become a Member or an Associate Member of The Scout Association.
